I wouldn’t call myself a shopaholic or a fashionista, lol. But I do love to bring home a few souvenirs from our travels. Even if it’s something really small, it’s always fun to have a memento from your special trip.

Without anymore chit chat – some of the Best Travel Shopping Destinations from around the world are:

Shopper’s Heaven in London

London shops

A fashion-forward metropolis, London is a vibrant city with a wealth of shopping options. The most famous street for shopping is Oxford Street, which is home to over 300 shops, including high-street fashion brands and legendary department stores.

Additionally, there are Bond Street and Mayfair, where you’ll find luxury designer brands and upscale boutiques.

London is very well-connected and is one of the most accessible cities on this list. Whether you are flying into Heathrow, travelling via the Eurostar or taking a train to London King’s Cross Station, you’re sure to reach the city with ease.

Rustic Road-Side Shopping in Bali

Bali shop

Pretty much everywhere you go in Bali there are little shops on the side of the road or path where you can buy clothes, bags, jewellery, hats, carvings etc.

We bought quite a few clothing items while were were in Bali earlier this year. But my favourite keepsakes are the stone carvings that we bought in Ubud.

We bought a small buddha statue which we have in our lounge, and a set of ivory coloured stone ladies with flowers in their hair. They’re sitting on our entrance table and I absolutely love them.

Fashion Paradise in Paris

Paris Shops

Paris is the fashion capital of the world and sets the stage for unparalleled shopping experiences.

Take a trip to the iconic Galeries Lafayette, a humongous department store filled with high-end designer brands. The building features an incredible glass dome and the view from the top overlooks the whole of Paris.

Then there’s the glamorous Champs-Elysees, which is lined with extravagant boutiques and flagship stores – not to mention the iconic Paris landmark itself.

The Le Marais District is another great location for shopping, offering a mix of vintage shops and independent boutiques for a unique shopping experience.

High-end Luxury in Dubai

Dubai

Synonymous with opulence and high-end luxury, Dubai is a haven for shopping.

The Dubai Mall is where you’ll find the largest array of shops, including an unrivalled selection of high-street fashion stores, unique boutiques, and designer labels.

One of the oldest traditional markets in the Emirates, the Gold Souk is home to over 250 retailers trading precious stones, gold, platinum, and silver. Find yourself some incredible jewellery and try out your haggling skills.

If you wish to experience traditional Arabic shopping, head to the Spice Souk, where you’ll find exotic perfumes, local handicrafts and exotic perfumes.

The Markets of Marrakech

Immerse yourself in the exotic flavours and radiant colours of the markets in Marrakech.

Navigate the labyrinthine alleys of the Medina and delve into a trove of traditional goods and intricate textiles.

The Jemaa el-Fnaa square is a cultural hub of activity, home to an eclectic mix of street performers, food vendors, and merchants selling a plethora of goods, from ceramics to handmade rugs. Again, make sure to haggle with the locals to get the best possible price for your souvenirs.
