A thick, creamy, slightly sweet and utterly delicious hot drink made with the golden spice - turmeric - known for its health benefits and healing properties. This is the ideal drink to have before bed to help you sleep, or whenever you feel like it.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 1/2 cups milk or dairy free milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 2 dates pitted
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger peeled
Instructions
  1. Place coconut milk, milk, spices and pepper in a small saucepan and heat on a medium heat until hot (do not boil). The mixture will go golden yellow as it heats up.
  2. Allow the milk mixture to cool for about 5 minutes (or as long as your blender specifies).
  3. Pour the milk mixture into the blender with the dates and ginger and blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the latte into two mugs and enjoy.
