Ingredients
  • 6 large lemons
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 10 tbsp honey
  • Cold Water
  • Ice
Instructions
  1. Clean the lemons well. Peel the rind off the lemons and place in a large bowl.
  2. Add 3 cups boiling water to the lemon rind and leave to sit until the water is warm.
  3. Remove the rind from the warm water. Set a few pieces aside for garnish.
  4. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and add to the warm rind water.
  5. Now add the honey and stir until dissolved. You can add more or less to suit you.
  6. Dilute with cold water to taste, I added 4 cups of cold water. Pour into a big jug with ice and mint and serve.
Recipe Notes

Double or triple the recipe for bigger batches. It's best if you drink the lemonade the day you prepare it.
