    molasses

  • 4 tsp

    Ceylon cinnamon

  • 2 tsp all spice

    Himalayan pink salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, coconut oil, honey, molasses, cinnamon, all spice and pink salt with your hands until the oats are evenly coated.

  3. Spread granola out on two baking trays to form even layers.

  4. Bake one tray at a time, in the middle of the oven, for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and stir. Bake for another 4 minutes or until the granola is golden brown and crunchy!

  5. Stir in the sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, allow to cool. Spoon into airtight containers and store in a cool, dry place.

  6. Enjoy with raw, organic full cream dairy milk, plain yoghurt or a dairy free milk or yoghurt you love. Also can be enjoyed dry as a healthy and delicious snack!

Recipe Notes
  • It is important to bake this granola on two baking trays as this is how it becomes crunchy and golden so quickly.
  • I have tried this granola with steel cut oats, it still tastes great, but it needs a few extra minutes  of cooking time to get golden and crunchy - keep an eye on it and bake to your liking.
  • You can add nuts of your choice to this granola with the seeds - I love walnuts, almonds, cashews or pecans, and if eating fruit and grains together doesn’t make you bloated then go wild and add raisins, dates, cranberries or any dried fruit you like!
