Valentine’s Days of years gone past have not been my favourite day of the year. This will be the first Valentine’s Day that I actually feel at peace with my life, at peace with myself, and fully loved.

It’s a really good feeling.  In order to get to this place, I had to take the first steps towards loving and accepting myself before I was able to better love others.  It’s a work in progress, I think it always will be.  Taking those first few steps is really powerful and can shift the course of your whole life!

OMG this JAMMMMM.  Words just aren’t enough to describe this amazingly easy, flavoursome, power-house-healthy Sugar Free Strawberry Chia Seed Jam!  You’re just going to have to try it.  Because WOW.  So good.  Pair this jam with whatever you like, the pancakes above, muffins, toast  (gotta love me some toast, I don’t care what the occasion!), crumpets, scones…I could go on and on.

One of my most favourite dessert recipes EVER.  This Rustic Bumble Berry Crumble Crisp is a cinch to throw together, and while it bakes the berries get all juicy and sticky and unbelievably divine, while the crumble crisp gets crunchy and golden on top, and stays kind of cake-y towards the berries.  It’s unlike any other dessert I’ve ever made and it’s an absolute delight.  Have it with whipped cream for real decadence.

Ok, it’s clear I have a lot of favourite desserts, but this one is WAY up there!!  The rhubarb and apple are sweetened with prunes which gives this dessert a unique and unforgettable flavour…If you and your boo love rhubarb and apple desserts, give this recipe a go!  Also, if you don’t like or can’t get rhubarb, just add more apples and make it an apple crumble, still soooo yummy.

If you’re really pushed for prep-time, this is the recipe for you!  It’s healthy, really chocolatey and nutty, with a slight orange peel infusion (you can nix this if you like), quick and easy to throw together and it keeps in the fridge or freezer if you have leftovers so you can enjoy it all through the weekend.

Another cute gift for girlfriends or moms, put the bark into little baggies and tie them up with pretty ribbon.  And you have yourself a gorgeous, thoughtful gift!
