You might be wondering, can I make healthy smoothies the night before? Or in the morning for lunch? Well, yes you can…
- When it comes to fruit smoothies, the fresher the better…Out of the blender and into your tummy is first prize.
- But if you need to make your smoothie ahead of time, be sure to store it in the refrigerator in a glass container with an airtight lid, and fill the smoothie right to the top of the jar, eliminating as much air as possible, as the oxygen will oxidise the smoothie and remove some of the goodness.
- A smoothie kept in the fridge for a few hours is certainly still healthier for you than many other quick fix options.
